Arrived in Chicago lastnight. After a quick stop at Portillo's for a hot dog, went to the condo to Skype with Zizah, Ali (McKenna's Aunt and Cousin) and McKenna. McKenna was already asleep in her Daddy's old bedroom (in Missouri) but Ali was sweet enough to walk the computer and camera over so we could watch her sleep.
Enjoying a nice 7-11 coffee, waiting for Kip to finish prettying up and we're on our way to O'Hare. First stop will be Washington, then onto the 10 plus hour flight to Moscow on which I will listen to my "One Minute Russian" on the iPod and become fluent.... especially with such important phrases as, "Excuse me, I am a silly American, please point me to your most expensive Vodka Bar." Hope to send pics of the Kremlin soon.
